Houston Freedom Fest, honoring Veteranss on Saturday, November 8, 2008 in downtown Houston, offers a unique opportunity for companies to attract Vets for job opportunities as they transition to the civilian workforce. The event will be web cast around the world including on the Military Network which reaches active duty personnel in Iraq and other locations. www.HoustonHiresVets.com is set up for companies to promote their job opportunities to Veterans during and after the event. The site is currently linked from the event's website www.HoustonFreedomFest.org and will continue to be available after the event. For a donation to Houston Freedom Fest, a non profit 501-C3 which helps Vets overcome Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome, you will receive a link with your logo on the job site for one year to your company's employment website. A minimum donation of $500 for companies with over 100 employees and $150 for less than 100 employees is requested and qualifies as a charitable donation for tax purposes.
